Skoltech Center for Neurobiology and Brain Restoration and the international NeurotechX community (www.neurotechx.com) will organize a series of free online events BCI_101 Global Series for young researchers interested in or already working with brain-computer interfaces.
Three times a week, leading and young scientists and technology startup leaders from around the world will share the first-hand experience in a simple and understandable way, talking about the basics of neurophysiology and neurotechnology, available research tools.
The first event of the series (May 5, 2020) will be held in Russian and will talk about the practical possibilities to start neurotechnological research and development, obtaining advanced knowledge and system support from development institutes.
The rest of the series events will be held in English - in the format of reports, interviews, and presentations on various aspects of neurotechnology activities, as well as practical exercises on recording and processing of bioelectrical signals. Representatives of leading companies and startups from two continents will talk about the products they develop, their vision of interaction with research groups, and their young researchers - about personal experience and the way from science to work in a startup.
