Skoltech Center for Neurobiology and Brain Restoration (CNBR) was founded at Skolkovo institute for Science and Technology in 2018.

The mission of CNBR is to develop new tools and methods for restoring damaged or dying brain functions, maintaining a healthy brain's cognitive functions, and developing technologies to combat autism, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, and other diseases.

Currently there are 5 Research Laboratories, working synergistically in four perspective streams:

•Gene and Small molecules
•Brain stimulation
•Brain metabolism
•Neuroimaging

aiming to do not only high class fundamental research but also to generate multidisciplinary products as the solutions to selected most common neurological disorders - cerebral palsy, ischemia in stroke and brain aging, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative (such as AD, PD, HD) and cognitive (such as SZ, BD, Depression) disorders, and tumors.

The educational program of CNBR is working in collaboration with Skoltech Center of Life Science, academic and industrial partners.
